Voices For Children Foundation advocates for foster youth and children in Miami-Dade through permanency support, independent living advocacy, trauma-informed court advocacy, and juvenile justice prevention services.

It’s easy to take our access to basic needs for granted. Food, clothing, housing, personal hygiene items—for many of us, we’ve always had access to these essentials.

The Comfort Closet, made possible by Miami-Dade County, offers children in foster care a dedicated space where they can fill up on basic necessities and comfort items.

VFC ensures stability for children in foster care by expanding and strengthening kinship care.

For children living in foster care, turning 18 means they are forced to learn the hard realities of what it means to be on their own.

We aim to create rich experiences for children in foster care that deliver both a sense of normalcy and a chance to dream beyond their tough circumstances.
