Building Confidence, One Outfit at a Time: Decorini Cabinetry Gives Back
Preparing for a job interview is about more than having the right résumé. Walking into the room feeling confident, prepared, and professional can make all the difference, especially for young adults taking their first steps toward independence.
Thanks to the generosity of Decorini Cabinetry, our new Success Closet, a professional development closet for young adults experiencing foster care and those who have aged out of the system, now has the shelving and organization needed to help bring that vision to life. Decorini donated both the shelving and installation, using their expertise to create a functional, welcoming space where young people can access professional clothing and essentials as they prepare for interviews, employment opportunities, and the workforce.
The Success Closet is part of an in-office project led through the Leadership Miami Da1e Team’s partnership with Voices For Children. Designed to support young adults ages 15–24 as they prepare for greater independence, the space provides career-readiness resources and opportunities to help them take their next steps with confidence. Da1e Miami also expanded our existing Comfort Closet.
For the Decorini team, supporting the Success Closet was a natural extension of their belief that thoughtfully designed spaces can make people feel supported and valued.
“As a company that helps create spaces of comfort and belonging, donating closets for this initiative felt deeply meaningful to our team.”
We sat down with the Decorini Cabinetry team to learn more about their work, the values behind their company, and why giving back to the community is an important part of who they are.
